Welcome to the official homepage of the Information Management forum (IMf), a representative body for large commercial and government organisations. Meeting quarterly, it has set itself the goal of being regarded as the benchmark forum for Information Management best practice for major organisations.
The next IMf will be held in early 2009 and more details will appear on this page in the near future.
At our most recent IMf meeting, held on 18th September senior information management decision-makers from organisations across government, financial services, telecoms and other commercial organisations met to discuss: "Data stewardship: managing people to govern data". Bill Castle, Head of Data Improvement and Governance, Barclays Commercial Bank and Tony Williams, Head of Information Management, Policy and Strategy Development, Metropolitan Police primed the debate by presenting their perspectives on the challenges they face in their organisations.
A summary report of the forum discussions is available here. To access all previous IMf summary reports click here.
